WHY THIS EXISTS

Keep what you want to hear right now.

Most playlists slowly fill up with dead songs. You loved them once, played them to death, and then moved on. Removing them feels like work, so they stay. Soon the playlist says less about what you listen to and more about what you forgot to clean up.

Spotify already gives us a much easier habit. Hear something you want again? Save it to Liked Songs. Once you have listened enough, remove it. If you notice yourself skipping a song every time, remove it. You can always save it again later.

Spotify now calls this saving and uses the + button. I still think of it as liking a song. The label does not matter much. The useful part is how easy it is to change your mind, so do not think about it too much.

Liked Songs lives in your private library. A normal playlist is what you can put on your profile and share. This site simply keeps one public playlist matched to the private list. What you save appears. What you remove disappears on the next sync.

The playlist can still get long. That is fine. The point is that every song has a reason to be there right now.

Set it once.
Then just keep listening.
